The program, designed in collaboration with many partners, includes training on the development, production and distribution of series and public discussions on the green future of film festivals and the changes left in the film world by the pandemic.

In collaboration with Motovila, a center for promoting cooperation in the cultural and creative sectors.

The event is intended for film festival organizers, filmmakers, cinemas and anyone interested in the first steps towards greening festivals. We will present how the implementation of the Creative Europe program contributes to the realization of the green agreement and examples of green practices of film festivals in the neighborhood.

Case Studies: The Series Morning Changes Everything, The Lake and V dvoje

In 30-minute sets, the authors will present the development and specifics of their projects. Goran Stanković, Vladimir Tagić and Snežana van Houwelingen will present their work on the series Morning Changes Everything (Jutro će promeniti sve, Serbia, 2018), Matevž Luzar and Klemen Dvornik will present the creation of the series The Lake (Jezero, Slovenia, 2019–), and Luka Marčetič with Klemen Dvornik‘s series V dvoje (Slovenia, 2015–2019).

The series Morning Changes Everything and V dvoje are available on Voyo.si. Participants of the Skill Transfer with a reservation of a place at the event are given 1 month (30 days) of free subscription!

Nadina Štefančič will moderate a conversation with Goran Stanković, Vladimir Tagić, Snežana van Houwelingen, Matevž Luzar, Klemen Dvornik and Luka Marčetič, in which the guests will discuss the possibilities of creating series projects in the region.

The Future of Film Systems – presentation of the proceedings and discussion
In cooperation with the Association of Slovenian Film Publicists FIPRESCI.

In March this year, a special issue of Ekran magazine published a collection entitled The Future of Film Systems, in which film critics and filmmakers discussed what had actually happened to the film since the beginning of the pandemic. At the presentation of the proceedings, the speakers will open the following questions: What changes will the pandemic leave in the film world? How do film critics adapt to this? What is the future of film criticism and how can it contribute to the reflection on more sustainable film models of the future? Petra Meterc will talk to the authors of the collection and a guest from abroad.
